The HES3D-90 concealed hinge offers three-axis post-installation adjustability, allowing for precise door alignment without removing the hinge from the door or jamb. All adjustments can be made using a standard screwdriver, without the need to detach the hinge components:

  • Vertical Adjustment: ±1.5 mm
(Adjustment screws located on the jamb side – two locations)

  • Horizontal Adjustment: ±1.5 mm
(Adjustment screws located on the door side – two locations)

  • Depth Adjustment: ±1 mm
(Adjustment screws located on the jamb side – central position)

The HES3D-90 offers a 180° opening arc with minimal clearance between the door and jamb—only 9.3 mm is required in the hinge pivot zone for smooth, obstruction-free operation.

For proper installation:

  • The reference surface of the door must align precisely with the reference surface of the jamb.

  • Corners marked with A and B in the diagram must be processed to C1 or greater (or R1 or greater) to prevent mechanical interference throughout the hinge’s motion range.

Correct alignment of these surfaces is essential to avoid binding or contact during door operation.

Accurate cutouts are essential for correct installation and hinge function. The door and jamb cutouts are identical and must be aligned to their respective reference surfaces.

Door & Jamb Cut-Out:

  • Height: 90 mm

  • Width: 18 mm

  • Corner Radius: R9

  • Depth: 16 mm

Ensure all cutouts are clean and square for a flush and concealed fit.
